Making of: Tiny Joseph Petticoat! (Plush You! Seattle 2010)

Joseph Petticoat, but adorably small!

All cut out and ready to sew!

I LOVE his foot, the cutest, tiniest foot ever!

His leg...

FOOT CLOSE-UP! So fuzzy!

Legs finished, T-rex arms are ready, now for more assembly.

Joseph in the headless stage once again. Most in process Joseph's get stuck with out a head, or eyes for a while....

This Tiny Joseph Petticoat was a part of the Plush You! Seattle 2010 show and is available to purchase at Schmancy Toys, 1932 2nd Avenue, Seattle, Washington.

There are photos of the whole, exciting, plushtastic show on Tyler Poncho's flickr. It was very interesting traveling by train to Seattle. I would prefer it more than by plane, we can walk around, go to different cars--particularly the sightseers lounge which was wonderful! It was very luxurious to move around and eat in the dining car, use the large dressing room, and look out the second floor windows. I should upload some train photos soon....

Here's a few photos of Tiny Joe eating the Luscious Plush Cake in the window of Schmancy.

Now to get back to some crazy sweat shop sewing.....

New Lengi fur is manufactured in the USA!

We took a trip to Monterey Mills, a knit pile fabric manufacturer just south of us in Janesville and picked up a few rolls of super soft and colorful shag fur for this seasons' Lengi Bears and Tylers Poncho!

Cleaning the work room gave Tyler divine powers.

It's been a while since our last post....let's look back through the to do list and see what's happened.

We ate breakfast with Jessica from Plushroom Soup! We also visited the adorable store, I Like You, in Minneapolis. It was fantastic to meet her, and I'll see her again at Plush You in a few weeks!

We sent a big box of toys out to Queen of Hearts Providence! A full Stuffed Animal World series is in stock there now! 222 Westminster St, Providence, RI.

We finished writing our 900 word article for Stuffed Magazine. They're featuring both the Stuffed Animal World series and the Amalgamated Menagerie. We cannot wait to see the proof.

I made a freelance prototype, Beatrice, for Prairie Pals Co., LLC. We may do more work together in the future.

Sears.com asked us to sell our toys on their website. They visited Kooky and wanted the Tyler Poncho brand. We're still working on everything so I can say more later. There will be an instant pick-up option for locals who buy online to pickup there purchases at Kooky, or I can ship them from here, as always.

Finally, last night, I cleaned out the work room. A much more thorough cleaning than any I've done lately. I'm selling fabrics I don't use on Etsy. Just a little while ago, Tyler finally woke up from his cute little bed and started sewing....and glowing.

Picture Time!

Tyler sleeps with four eyes open...so no one can steal his teddy bear.

Plush You! Seattle: Sneaky Preview

We are so sneaky! We've finished all three pieces for Plush You! this year, going to send them out today! I definitely created a Powder Blue and White theme for the pieces, since those seem to be my favorite colors recently.

October 8th, Schmancy Toys, 1932 2nd Ave, Seattle.

I'll make a magically timed post to appear during the time of the show revealing the pieces! We will be traveling by train through the mountains to arrive in Seattle and we'll take many lovely pictures of everything to share when we get back :)

Making of: Autumn Treeweeliusses!

Autumn colors are Tyler's favorite colors! He picked out his favorite fall spectrum for our Treeweeliusses, we made three variations.

These special new toys are for the Etsy Plush Street Team's fall holiday theme.

Our prototype is pinned.

Trunk experiment complete, deciding on leaf placement.
Leafy Leaves all in a row.
Yay! Treeweelius!
Blehloo-blehloo-blehloo-blehloo! (tongue razzing)
Now that I've finished the prototype, Tyler starts on the other two.
Pumpkin and Gold faces prepared and pinned.
Making good progress, Tyler!
Snack Break!
Gold Treeweelius is complete! Good jorb, Tyler.
Pumpkin face and his little leaves.
Oh Dear! Already finished?
*Three times the razzings!*

These Treeweeliuses love to taste the crisp Autumn air.

Treeweelius is inspired by Cloudweelius, there will be more to come, for every season!
