Weekend Hoorays

I've been trying to take better photos for etsy as well- but I don't know what's most effective...
either way- i like how things are turning out...perhaps

jon and i are excited for the weekend (we've been married a week now ;) things are normal now that the wedding's over, (it was fun wedding=D) so now everything's super happy times!


Here are the original drawings for the IFS plushies. I've made little cards and cutouts to work with- it's fun =)

I also took this photo of my 'studio' by which i mean my sunny corner...(we live in a very tiny studio apartment)

the photo's a bit dark, but it's decent (tyler and i were watching charlie and the chocolate factory, the new one ;)- tyler particularly likes the pink sea horse boat)

i think it can be weird to put pictures of yourself up.....but i recently dyed my hair and liked how it turned out, so i thought i'd share...

Monitor Madness

Today I made many new things in Illustrator....a new banner for etsy- and a wonderfully silly desktop =D

jon came home with a huge monitor yesterday- and gave it to me to both of our suprises....why i really need one is a mystery- but it's been fun nevertheless!! (so that picture up there is my desktop right now 1920x1200) omg!

(i've been playing american mcgee's alice on it and it looks so good on this monitor, the games old, but still it still looks alright, especially with the pretty musics!)

if anyone is reading- look to the right and watch "Tyler Poncho Plays Piano"- it's outrageous!
(not really- but it entertains me ;)

Imaginary Friend Suits

The Imaginary Friend Suit Plushie/Pillows are started!

They're based on Gary Simpson's Imaginary Friend Suit characters- they're in coloring book form on his etsy!

They are little children who are wearing Suits of the their Imaginary Friends- so cute!! I love them =D!!

Here's a photo of two of them so far =D



They've been so fun to make!!

The other plushies I've been making aren't pillow-like and don't have detailed embroidery- so this was a change of pace for me, and I've really enjoyed it =D!!!

They're names are Mr. Bright Idea, and Miss Sherry-Berry- they'll be available on Etsy soon!

HOoRay!

My nuptial day was last friday ;).....so now, hopefully, i'll have time for other things...besides the crazy errands i've been running! It'll still be a while until everything's over, name changings, gifts, thank you cards...etc....but now i can start the Imaginary Friend Suits! this week!!

Gifts

i don't think i'm very good at writing this blog...i've never kept a journal before- but besides that i've been pretty busy making stuffs for my wedding- I made these bear/monsters for my bridesmaids- i'm getting married in exactly one week! :0....but they were a lot of fun to make- and i think they'll like them =)

these will all be available for custom orders soon....

i also made a bunch of sashes/bows for them to wear, along with my flower girl basket, ringbearer pillow and some other things.....hopefully after the wedding i can do more fun things i want to make =)

i had also made my mother some felt daisies for her b-day, but sadly, forgot to take a photo =(

they acheived perfection in cheeriness!!

- i'll be making some Imaginary Friend Suit plushies with Simpson from etsy/artbistro- i'm really looking forward to those! =D they're his design and i'll be creating them.
